Why Cerro
In working with our Federal customers migrating to AWS, we noticed a trend. That is, AWS S3 is becoming an increasingly critical component of an organization's overall data strategy along with other AWS data services, such as RedShift, RDS, etc. It makes perfect sense. S3 is simple, inexpensive, secure, and compliant data storage for documents. What's not so clear is how to effectively use these documents for analytic purposes, especially if they are in PDF image format.
In order to get the most value from Natural Language Processing (NLP), our experience shows that it requires domain-specific models. Cerro takes this one step further by enabling customers to define their own custom Entity Dictionary that complements the AI algorithms to significantly increase the accuracy of the NLP model results. Most NLP subscription service providers train their models on publicly available internet data only, such as Wikipedia. Unfortunately, these services don't understand the specific terminology of your business or mission.
This led us to develop our Intelligent solution. Every organization that has, or will have, valuable information in AWS S3 needs the capability to Intelligentize their documents. Intelligent for AWS significantly increases search and analytic capabilities of your organization that typical full text search, or generic NLP training can’t provide.
